The Brass Field Attachable 338 B Series Air Brake Hose End includes a 0.38 inch male NPT fitting with a spring guard. Crafted by Danfoss Power Solutions (Aeroquip Inc-Alternate) this fitting is made from CA360 brass providing durability and resistance to corrosion making it suitable for rigorous air brake hose environments.

Compatible with H105 H115 and H338 hoses it features an easy assembly process that does not require a mandrel. This hose end fitting is stamped with DOT for compliance and safety assurance.

The configuration includes a male NPTF end with a 0.375-inch pipe size suitable for a range of air brake hose lines. You can refer to the hose and fitting pressure ratings to determine the maximum working pressure for your specific application.

Does this fitting need any special tools to put together, or can I assemble it out in the field without a press or anything like that?

No mandrel or press needed. Slide the nut and sleeve onto the hose with the bevel edge of the sleeve facing out toward the fitting, push the hose in until it bottoms out, then screw the nut down until it contacts the body hex. That's the whole process. It's built to be assembled right where you're working without hauling extra equipment out to the job.
