Brass Crimp Polyon Swage Fitting, 9/16-18 Female JIC 37 deg Flare Swivel, -06 Hose, Straight

Description & Features

Designed for use with -06 hose, this Brass Crimp Polyon Swage Fitting, 9/16-18 Female JIC 37 deg Flare Swivel, -06 Hose, Straight is part of the Eaton Aeroquip Polyon Brass Crimp Fittings line. The swivel end features a 9/16-18 thread with a SAE 37-degree flare connection, and the 0.75-inch hex on the hose end supports standard assembly tooling.

Constructed in brass, this straight fitting suits hydraulic hose assemblies where a female JIC swivel termination is required. The swivel design allows for rotational adjustment during installation, reducing stress on the hose assembly. Compatibility with a range of fluids is documented in Eaton's published fluid compatibility data for this product line.

got a -06 hose and need a straight female JIC swivel end, is this the right one or am i mixing stuff up
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 6:01 AM
For a -06 hose with a straight female JIC swivel, this matches that setup. It is a brass Polyon swage fitting with a 9/16-18 female JIC (SAE 37 degree flare) swivel end.
Question by: Troy H on Apr 5, 2026, 12:58 PM
How tight should I make this fitting on my hose? Just want to make sure I don't overtighten it and cause a leak later on down the road.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2026, 2:27 PM
These Aeroquip Polyon brass fittings use a crimp design, so the tightness comes from properly crimping the fitting onto the -06 hose. The 0.75-inch hex is there to help with standard assembly tooling to get a good, solid crimp.
