Question by: Cindy W on Sep 25, 2025, 10:00 AM
got 1/2 inch air brake tube already, will this elbow union fit it right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 26, 2025, 11:49 AM
It’s made for 0.50 inch tube OD air brake tubing and it’s a union 90 degree elbow, so it’s intended to connect that same 1/2 inch OD tube on both ends using the push to connect style.
Question by: Peggy A on May 21, 2025, 11:31 AM
fitting rated for air brake use, or is that just marketing talk on the box?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 22, 2025, 12:27 PM
Fully rated for air brake service. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 requirements, which are the actual federal and industry standards governing air brake system performance. The brass body is CA360 grade with an EP O-ring, and the working range runs from vacuum up to 150 psi. That covers what most air brake circuits run at.
