Question by: Dwayne S on Aug 25, 2025, 3:35 PM
got a half inch tube line on a pneumatic circuit i'm trying to elbow around a corner, does this fitting just push in or do i need to flare the tube end first?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 27, 2025, 6:19 AM
No flaring needed. Push the tube straight into the fitting and it locks in place on its own. To get it back out, press the collet ring with two fingers and pull the tube free. Works with PT230 and TP160 nylon tubing as well as PT240 polyethylene, so as long as you're running one of those and your OD is a half inch, you're good to go.
Question by: Freddie M on Aug 12, 2025, 8:06 AM
i’m trying to run 1/2 inch OD nylon tube and make a 90, is this union elbow the right style for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 14, 2025, 6:32 AM
For a simple 90 degree turn while keeping the same tube size on both ends, this union elbow fits 0.50 inch tube OD and is made to work with PT230 and TP160 nylon tubing. It is also compatible with PT240 polyethylene tubing.
