got 1/4 inch nylon tube here, does this fitting take that and screw into a 3/8-18 NPT port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 10, 2025, 7:53 AM
It’s made to accept 0.25 inch tube OD on the push-to-connect side and it has a 3/8-18 male NPT thread on the other end. It’s also listed as compatible with PT230 and TP160 nylon tubing, plus PT240 polyethylene.

If I push the tube in and need to take it back out, is that gonna be a problem?

Disconnecting it is pretty easy. Just depress the collet ring with two fingers and then you can withdraw the tubing.
Question by: Rusty R on Aug 20, 2025, 2:55 PM
does this fitting work with regular polyethylene tubing or does it need something specific
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 22, 2025, 6:07 AM
Compatible tubing for this fitting includes PT230 and TP160 nylon as well as PT240 polyethylene. As long as your tube outside diameter is 0.25 inch, you're in good shape with any of those materials. The push-connect design just requires you to seat the tube fully into the collet, no tools needed.
