Both are covered. PT230 and TP160 are nylon tubing types, and PT240 is polyethylene. So if you're running either material, this fitting is built to work with it. Just keep in mind the tubing's own temperature rating matters too, not just the fitting's, so factor that in when you're putting it to use in a hot environment.
