got 1/4 inch air brake tubing, will this elbow snap right in or do i need clamps or anything
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 6:07 AM
For 1/4 inch tube OD, you just push the tubing into the fitting until you feel a solid stop. The push to connect collet grips the tube and the EP O-ring handles the seal, so there is no clamp required for the tube side.

Will this fitting hold up okay in an air brake system on a semi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 16, 2025, 6:20 AM
Designed for efficiency in air brake systems, this fitting is made from brass for strength and uses an EP O-ring to keep pressure from leaking. It also meets D.O.T. and SAE standards.
