The Danfoss / Eaton Push>Connect Swivel Elbow Adapter is expertly designed for use with compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuit lubricant and cooling lines. This fitting enables seamless assembly without the need for tools and allows for easy reusability significantly reducing assembly and disassembly time. Made from durable brass and nickel-plated materials this fitting includes a Buna-N O-Ring seal with Viton available upon request. It is suited for PT230 and TP160 nylon and PT240 polyethylene tubing and supports a pressure range of up to 250 psi dependent on tubing size. The fittings can operate effectively within a temperature range of -40F to 200F provided the tubing temperature range is observed. The fitting is rated at 29.5 inches of mercury vacuum ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications. To connect simply push the tubing into the fitting and to disconnect depress the collet ring with two fingers and withdraw. Supplier Part Number: 1169X6S

fitting says it goes up to 250 psi but does that hold true no matter what size tubing your running with it?

Pressure rating on these push-connect fittings is tubing-dependent, so 250 psi is the ceiling, not a flat guarantee across every tube size. Smaller diameter tubing tends to support higher working pressures while larger sizes may come in lower. Run your specific tubing size against the published rating chart for that configuration before committing to it in a higher-pressure circuit.
