The Danfoss / Eaton Push>Connect Swivel Elbow Adapter connects 0.38 inch tube OD to 1/8-27 male NPT with a 90-degree elbow featuring a robust brass and nickel-plated construction. It supports pressures up to 250 psi depending on tube size and ensures reliable performance in a variety of industrial applications such as compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuit lubricant and cooling lines.

Its reusability and ease of assembly with no tools required contribute to efficient installation and maintenance. The temperature range for these fittings spans from -40F to 200F provided the compatible plastic tubing's temperature threshold is not exceeded. The integral Buna-N O-Ring (optional Viton available upon request) assures a secure seal under demanding conditions.

This push>connect fitting is compatible with PT230 and TP160 nylon and PT240 polyethylene tubing ensuring versatility and adaptability. does this fitting work without any tools to put together, or do i need something special to get the tube locked in?

No tools needed for assembly. You push the tube straight into the fitting and the internal mechanism locks it in place. That makes it real handy when you're working in tight spots or need to swap things out fast without hunting down a wrench. The swivel feature on the NPT end also lets you position the elbow where you need it before tightening down to the port.
