The Danfoss / Eaton Push>Connect Swivel Elbow Adapter is designed for compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuit lubricant and cooling lines. This fitting facilitates easy and quick assembly without the need for tools making it highly efficient and reusable. Its nickel-plated brass material ensures durability and reliability under various industrial conditions. The fitting supports a pressure range of up to 250 psi depending on the tube size and is rated at 29.5 inches of mercury vacuum. It is compatible with PT230 and TP160 nylon and PT240 polyethylene tubing. The temperature range for this fitting is -40F to 200F but compatibility with plastic tubing's temperature range should be checked. The O-ring seal is constructed from Buna-N with Viton available upon special request.

fitting says it works up to 250 psi but does that hold across all tube sizes or just certain ones

Pressure rating depends on the tube size you're running. The 250 psi maximum applies depending on which tube size is connected, so smaller or larger tubing may change what this fitting can safely handle. Match your tube OD to the rated specs before putting it in service on anything running near that upper limit.

trying to hook 1/2 inch tube into a 1/4 npt port, is that what this elbow is set up for?

Fit-wise it matches a 0.50 inch tube OD on the push to connect side and a 1/4-18 male NPT swivel on the threaded side, in a 90 degree elbow body.
