got a 1/4 inch air brake tube and need to swing into a tight spot, is this the right elbow to go from tube to 1/4 npt?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 7:55 PM
For a 1/4 inch tube OD going into a 1/4-18 male NPT port with a 90 degree turn, this fitting matches that setup. It is a push to connect style for 0.25 inch tube OD on one end and 1/4-18 male NPT on the other, with an EP O-ring to help seal the NPT side.

What kind of temperatures can this elbow fitting handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 24, 2025, 3:34 PM
This fitting is made to hold up in temperatures from -40F to +200F.
Question by: Hank B on Feb 14, 2026, 8:06 AM
fitting's rated up to 150 psi, but does it hold up alright under vibration or is that gonna be a problem on a working truck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 16, 2026, 6:35 AM
Moderate vibration is well within what this fitting handles. It carries DOT FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 certifications, both of which are air brake system performance standards that specifically account for real-world operating conditions. The EP O-ring forms a secure seal at the tube connection, so you're not relying on compression alone to keep things tight when things get shaking.
