The DANFOSS Power Solutions (Aeroquip Inc-Alternate) Brass Push>Connect to Male NPT Fitting 1868X6 offers an efficient solution for connecting air brake tubing. This connector is designed to handle a range of temperatures from -40F to +200F and withstand pressures from vacuum up to 150 psi.

Constructed from CA360 brass with an Ethylene Propylene O-ring the fitting ensures durability and reliability. With a 0.38-inch tube OD and 1/4-18 male NPT threads it meets D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 air brake system performance requirements.

Featuring easy fast assembly this reusable one-piece fitting is field serviceable making it ideal for moderate vibration environments. Ensure a secure fit by simply inserting the tubing until a solid stop is felt.

To disassemble the collet head can be depressed using fingers or an Eaton tube release tool.

Been trying to figure out if this fitting'll hold up in an air brake setup on an older semi. Does it actually meet DOT requirements?

i’m swapping a line and just want to be sure, what size tube and pipe thread does this 1868X6 fitting take?

It’s made for 0.38 inch tube OD on the push-to-connect side and it has a 1/4-18 male NPT thread on the other end.
