This DANFOSS Power Solutions (Aeroquip Inc-Alternate) brass push-to-connect air brake tube fitting is designed for seamless integration and exceptional performance in air brake systems. The fitting connects a 0.38-inch tube OD to a 1/2-14 Male NPT ensuring a secure and reliable connection. This one-piece fitting made from CA360 brass and featuring an ethylene propylene O-ring provides moderate vibration resistance and operates effectively within a temperature range of -40F to +200F and pressure range from vacuum to 150 psi.

Engineered for quick and easy assembly this fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 performance requirements making it perfect for use in commercial and industrial air brake systems. Its reusable and field-serviceable nature ensures long-lasting utility and cost-effectiveness.

Assembly Instructions: 1. Using a tube cutter make a square cut edge (maximum 15 cutting angle allowed). 2. Insert tubing straight into fitting until a solid stop is felt. The tubing grip and seal (on O-ring) is now accomplished. 3. Gently tug on tubing to ensure tubing is secure. Disassembly: 1. Check to be sure there isnt any air pressure. 2. Depress collet head using fingers or Eaton tube release tool to release grip on tubing. 3. With the collet depressed pull the tubing from the fitting.

Does this fitting work for standard commercial air brake setups, or is it only rated for certain systems?
