The Brass Push>Connect Tube Fitting with a 0.50-inch tube OD union is designed to facilitate efficient connections in compressed pneumatic instrumentation circuits lubricant and cooling lines. This fitting crafted by Danfoss Power Solutions (Aeroquip Inc-Alternate) is renowned for its no-tool requirement enabling ease of assembly and reusability.

Constructed from nickel-plated brass the fitting exhibits a pressure range of up to 250 psi ensuring robust performance. It features an O-Ring of Buna-N construction with Viton options available upon special order. The fitting is compatible with PT230 and TP160 nylon and PT240 polyethylene tubing.

Withstanding temperatures from -40F to 200F users must also adhere to the temperature range of the tubing in use. For assembly simply push the tubing into the fitting and to disconnect depress the collet ring with two fingers and withdraw. This model is designed to save time during both assembly and disassembly processes.

Will this work with nylon tubing, or is it just for metal?

This fitting's made to work with PT230 and TP160 nylon, plus PT240 polyethylene tubing.

got a half inch nylon line, do i need any tools or clamps to hook this union up?

For this push to connect union, assembly is tool free. You just push the tubing into the fitting to make the connection. To take it back apart, press the collet ring in with two fingers and pull the tube out.
