Brass Push-In Tube Fitting, 0.19 Tube OD to 1/8-27 Male NPT Swivel, 90 deg Elbow

Description & Features

The ALKON Corp Brass Push-In Tube Fitting 0.19 Tube OD to 1/8-27 Male NPT Swivel 90 deg Elbow is designed for use with polyurethane polybutylene and soft metal tubing. This fitting offers a reliable quick connect and disconnect feature ensuring a positive seal without leaks.

Constructed from brass with Buna-N O-rings the product includes pre-applied Teflon-based pipe sealant on all male threads. It provides a full flow design and offers a choice of stationary or swivel options. The interior hex in straight connectors allows for Allen key tightening.

Suitable for use up to the maximum working pressure of the thermoplastic tubing used this fitting can also be used in vacuum service. The temperature range for this fitting is -10F to 200F.

When tubing is inserted into the fitting it passes through gripping teeth and an O-ring which provides a leak-proof seal. The gripping teeth secure the tube while the insert expands. Pulling back on the tube tightens the grip further with the tube bottoming against a positive stop in a cavity for support.

Question by: Cody G on May 31, 2025, 4:09 PM
Can this elbow handle a constant vacuum?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 2, 2025, 9:31 AM
Yes, it's suitable for vacuum service in addition to handling pressure up to the rating of the thermoplastic tubing you're using.
Question by: Terry W on Jul 29, 2025, 12:53 PM
fitting says it works up to the max working pressure of the tubing, does that mean it'll also hold up in vacuum lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 31, 2025, 6:44 AM
Vacuum service is supported, so you're covered on both ends. The gripping teeth and O-ring seal work the same way whether you've got pressure pushing through or a vacuum pulling. Just make sure the tubing itself is rated for vacuum use, since the fitting takes its pressure limits from whatever tubing you pair it with.
