Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Hugh W on Sep 9, 2025, 3:46 PM
fitting says "reusable", does that mean i can pull it off one hose and put it back on a fresh one without needing any special tools or a press?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 11, 2025, 2:27 PM
Reusable is exactly right. The 4750 Series uses a compression-type design, so there's no crimping or swaging involved. You thread the fitting components together by hand or with standard wrenches, which means you can disassemble it, swap it onto a new hose section, and reassemble without shop press equipment. That's the whole point of the socketless design for field repairs and situations where you don't have a crimp station nearby.
