Trying to match up a fitting i pulled off an old hose, is this one a straight female JIC swivel with 1-1/16-12 threads for a -12 hose?

fitting says it's reusable -- how exactly does that work when you go to pull it off a hose? does the whole thing come apart or just part of it

i’ve got a -12 hose, is this the right end to hook it to a female JIC swivel, or am I mixing stuff up
