It's made to work with a -24 size hose.

fitting says "reduced bore" on it, does that mean flow's gonna be restricted compared to a full bore setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 10, 2025, 9:46 PM
Reduced bore fittings do carry a smaller internal passage than full bore versions of the same hose size. For most standard hydraulic circuits that's not a problem, but if your system is sensitive to pressure drop or you're moving high flow volumes through a tight line, it's worth factoring that in before you commit. The tradeoff is a more compact overall assembly, which can matter a lot when space is tight around the hose routing.

got a -24 hose and need a straight female JIC swivel, is this the right one or am i off a size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 8:54 AM
Fit comes down to two callouts on this part: it is made for a -24 hose, and the swivel end is a 1-7/8-12 female JIC 37 degree flare (SAE 37). If your hose is -24 and you are mating to a male JIC 37 flare in 1-7/8-12, this is the correct straight swivel fitting.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it pretty much all day, every day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 26, 2026, 6:02 AM
Designed for demanding industrial applications, this fitting is built with durability in mind for continuous use.
