The Danfoss Power Solutions (Aeroquip Inc-Alternate) SelfAlign Tube Sleeve is designed for use with aluminum copper and plastic tubing. Featuring CA360 Brass it offers a working pressure up to 2000 psi with a 4:1 safety factor depending on tube size. It's crucial to note that this product is not recommended for steel tubing.

This versatile fitting meets ASA ASME and SAE standards and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for flammable liquids on special order. It supports a temperature range from -65F to +250F with metal tubing and matches the temperature range of compatible plastic tubing used.

Characterized by its ease of assembly the SelfAlign Tube Fitting does not require flaring and ensures alignment without needing to disassemble the fitting. It is designed for quick installation facilitating efficient workflow without compromising on performance.

Assembly instructions dictate that the nut and sleeve must be properly oriented during installation and it should be tightened to the "ring grip" point confirming a secure fit. For environments with higher vibration the use of a long nut is advised.

If I'm usin' this sleeve with plastic tubing, does the temperature range change any?

The temperature range will match whatever plastic tubing you're using with it.

does this sleeve work with copper tubing or is it only for certain materials

Copper tubing is one of the compatible options for this fitting. It also works with aluminum and plastic tubing. The one thing to keep in mind is that steel tubing is not recommended with this sleeve, so if that's what you're running, you'd need a different fitting altogether.
