Brass Short Shank Type Fitting, 0.63 Inch Hose ID to 3/4-11-1/2 Male Garden Hose (NPSH), Straight

Description & Features

Crafted for reliability in industrial applications, this brass short shank type fitting connects a 0.63-inch hose ID to a 3/4-11-1/2 male garden hose (NPSH) in a straight configuration. The fitting is machined from free-cutting brass rod CDA 360 alloy, offering durability and resistance in low-pressure fluid transfer and suction and discharge tasks. The design ensures seamless integration with various hoses, though caution should be exercised as working pressure varies depending on several factors including hose construction and clamp placement.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Lance W on Jan 31, 2026, 8:06 AM
fitting says 0.63 inch hose ID, does that mean it'll work on a standard 5/8 inch hose or is that a different size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 2, 2026, 6:08 AM
A 0.625 inch ID and 5/8 inch are the same measurement, so yes, this shank is sized for that hose. The short shank design means you'll want a clamp to secure it properly since the barb length is shorter than a standard shank. Clamp placement and how tight you run it will affect how well the connection holds, so take care during install.
