Question by: Kurt B on Aug 1, 2025, 8:38 AM
trying to swap out an old barb fitting, what hose size and thread does this one match up with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 2, 2025, 8:12 PM
It is made for a 3/8 inch hose ID on the barb side and a 5/8-18 SAE 45 degree flare thread on the other end, in a straight configuration.
Question by: Todd F on Oct 27, 2025, 9:05 AM
what thread size is on the female end of this fitting? need to make sure it'll mate up with my SAE flare connection before I order
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 6:03 AM
The female end runs a 5/8-18 thread and is built to connect with a SAE 45 degree flare. That's a standard -6 flare size, so if your mating fitting matches those specs, you're good to go.
