got a short shank hose that measures right around 3/16 on the inside. is this the one that goes to 1/8 npt male?

It’s made for a 0.188 inch hose ID on the shank side and it has a 1/8-27 male NPT thread on the other end, in a straight configuration.

What kind of hose is this fitting meant to go on, and is it just for light duty stuff?
