trying to match up a hose end, is this the one for 3/8 inch ID hose with a 1/8-27 male NPT on the other side?

fitting says 0.375 hose ID, does that mean it'll work with standard 3/8 inch hose barb setups, or is the thread side gonna cause me trouble connecting to 1/8 NPT ports?

The hose end is sized for 3/8 inch ID hose, and the male thread is 1/8-27 NPT, which is a common standard size you'll find on a lot of ports and fittings in light-duty fluid systems. As long as your hose ID is 3/8 inch and your port accepts 1/8 male NPT, the two ends should line up without any adapter needed. Just make sure you're using the right clamp and seating it properly, since working pressure on shank fittings like this one depends heavily on how well the clamp is installed, not just the fitting itself.
