Description & Features

Designed for maximum durability the Cable Orscheln Felsted 4 Series Clamp. features heavy-duty thick-walled polymer jackets crafted from HDPE in a distinctive dark maroon hue. This cable hardware and knob component is engineered to withstand extreme compressive and tensile loads thanks to its multiple oil-tempered spring wires in a long lay pattern ensuring precise control.

The Hi-Performance 1 x 7 coated core available in 3 4 and 6 series cables offers superior flexibility and higher push loads compared to traditional armor core constructions. Corrosion-resistant materials are employed throughout with 300 series stainless steel rods and sleeves and aluminum or stainless hubs for maximum longevity.

All cables utilize polymer liners rated from -65F to 225F and factory lubrication is applied to ensure optimum core performance. The exclusive polymer rod and sleeve bearing system enhances efficiency and cable lifespan by eliminating metal-to-metal contact and accurately aligning rods with seals.

what keeps moisture and junk from gettin into the cable over time, especially runnin it in rougher conditions?

Custom compounded seals are built into the cable specifically to block out moisture and contaminants. On top of that, the polymer rod and sleeve bearing system keeps metal parts from touching each other directly, which goes a long way toward preventing wear that could open up gaps for debris to get in. The polymer liner also runs rated from negative 65 degrees F all the way up to 225 degrees F, so temperature swings alone won't compromise the seal integrity.
