runs 24 volt DC on our refuse hauler, will this coil hold up running all day without overheating or cutting out?

It's built to run at anywhere from 85% to 110% of the 24VDC nominal voltage, so minor fluctuations in your system won't cause it to drop out or overheat during a full shift.
