304SS 2.5" 0-160 PSI/ 0-11 Bar Liquid Filled Pressure Gauge, 1/4 NPT Center Back Connection

Description & Features

The liquid-filled pressure gauge from Engineered Specialty Products offers a robust solution for monitoring pressures up to 160 PSI (11 Bar) with a precision of 3-2-3% of the span. Designed for industrial applications it ensures accurate readings and stable performance due to its durable 304 stainless steel construction and brass male connection.

This 2.5-inch liquid-filled gauge features a polycarbonate window for clear visibility and protection against impacts. The 1/4 NPT center back connection is ideal for secure and straightforward installations.

Engineered with a 0.013" throttle plug this gauge is optimized for longevity and effective function in demanding environments. The liquid filling helps dampen vibrations enhancing the gauge's reliability and life.

Recommendation: Maintain the operating pressure between 25%-75% of the scale range for optimal performance. If pulsation is present ensure the pressure does not exceed 50% of the full-scale range.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Darryl Y on Aug 1, 2025, 4:15 PM
running this on a hydraulic line that sees a fair amount of vibration and pulsation -- what's the safe working pressure I should stay under?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 2, 2025, 9:29 PM
Pulsating systems need a bit more caution with this one. Keep your operating pressure at or below 50% of the 160 PSI full scale, so around 80 PSI max, when pulsation is present. Under normal steady conditions, staying between 25% and 75% of the scale, roughly 40 to 120 PSI, is the sweet spot for getting accurate reads and protecting the gauge long term. The glycerin or liquid fill does help absorb vibration, but respecting that 50% ceiling on pulsating lines will add a lot of life to it.
