The Code 61 Split Flange Kit features a 3.31" (-40) flange head and is able to sustain a maximum operating pressure of up to 2500 PSI. Meticulously engineered by Anchor Fluid Power, this kit is known for its robust construction and reliability in industrial applications.

Each kit comes complete with two flange halves, four grade 8 hex bolts, four lock washers, and a high-quality 90 durometer Buna-N O-Ring. The zinc plating with yellow chromate finish ensures durability and resistance to corrosion.

The included Buna-N O-Ring is suitable for use with petroleum and water-based hydraulic fluids, and the kit operates effectively within a temperature range of -40deg;F to +250deg;F. Bolts have a torque rating of 950-1100 lb-in, providing secure and leak-resistant connections.

got a -40 code 61 flange head, is this kit the right size and what all comes in it?

what fluids is that buna-n o-ring gonna hold up to, petroleum based or water based or both?

Buna-N handles both petroleum and water-based hydraulic fluids just fine. That said, if your system runs anything outside those two categories, or operates at temperatures pushing past 250 degrees F, you'd want a different seal material. The kit itself is rated down to negative 40 degrees F on the cold end, so typical outdoor or unheated shop conditions aren't a concern.
