The Corrugated Black Hi Temperature EPDM Rubber Hardwall Wet Exhaust Hose 1.50 Inch ID Up To 48.00 PSI is designed for optimal performance in marine wet exhaust systems. Manufactured by Trident Rubber LLC it features a tough build with a wire helix between a 2-ply reinforcement ensuring excellent flexibility and tight bend radius.
This hose resists heat ozone exhaust fumes and collapse making it reliable for high-temperature applications with a maximum continuous temperature of 250F. It meets SAE J2006 ABYC and NMMA standards with pending ISO 13363 certification.
The hose's black HT EPDM rubber construction includes a thick tube and cover providing durability and longevity. Featuring a smooth interior and bend arcs it reduces engine backpressure and maximizes engine movement absorption resulting in a quieter operation.
To ensure proper installation avoid kinking and install with 2 stainless steel clamps at each end. Recommended clamps include 3/4 inch wide T-Bolt Clamps and 5/8 inch wide Constant Torque Clamps. For best performance install downstream from wet exhaust system water injection points.

Question by: Darryl R on Mar 10, 2026, 10:53 AM
got a tight bend right off the riser, how sharp can i turn this 1.5 inch hose without it kinking up
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 11, 2026, 2:27 PM
For the 1.50 inch ID version, the minimum bend radius is 4 inches. It is built with a wire helix between a 2 ply reinforcement to help it hold shape, but you still want to route it so it is not kinked or damaged.
