This premium corrugated marine wet exhaust hose is designed for longer connections with substantial bends. Manufactured by Trident Rubber LLC it features a black high temperature (HT) EPDM rubber construction ensuring heat ozone and exhaust fume resistance. The hose has a diameter of 2 inches and operates up to 48 PSI making it suitable for demanding applications.

With a thick tube and cover reinforced by a wire helix between two plies it offers exceptional flexibility and a minimum bend radius of 5.25 inches. It meets SAE J2006 ABYC and NMMA standards and complies with ISO 13363 (pending). The hose maintains continuous operation at temperatures up to 250F demonstrating its reliability in critical marine environments.

Its smooth interior surface and bend arcs reduce engine back pressure thereby improving performance. Installation is straightforward: ensure no damage or kinks and use stainless steel clamps for secure connections. Clamps should be 3/4 inch wide T-Bolt or 5/8 inch wide Constant Torque types.

What’s the bend radius on this hose? Need to make sure it’ll work in a tight spot.

For tight spots, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 5.25 inches.

what kind of clamps am I supposed to use with this hose? got some regular worm gear clamps on hand but wanna make sure before I put it all together

For a solid, leak-free connection, go with 3/4 inch wide T-Bolt clamps or 5/8 inch wide Constant Torque clamps. Each end needs a minimum of two stainless steel clamps, and they should be at least 1/2 inch wide at the bare minimum. Standard worm gear clamps are not the recommended choice here. The T-Bolt and Constant Torque styles hold up better against the vibration and heat cycling that wet exhaust systems deal with on a regular basis.
