This Trident Marine Systems corrugated hose is constructed from blue very high temperature silicone rubber for marine wet exhaust and engine coolant systems. This marine wet exhaust hose is designed with heavy-wall construction. It exceeds SAE J2006, ABYC, and NMMA standards.

With a 1.25-inch internal diameter and 1.75-inch outer diameter, the Corrugated Blue Very Hi Temperature Silicone Rubber Wet Exhaust Hose offers flexibility and a tight bend radius for easier installation. It also reduces engine back pressure and absorbs engine movement, vibration, and noise.

The hose is designed for temperatures up to 350° F. It features a wire helix between 2-ply reinforcement for durability.

how hot does this hose actually get before it starts breaking down? got a diesel inboard that runs pretty warm and i dont want to burn through another hose in a season

Continuous operating temp tops out at 350 degrees F for this hose. That said, the silicone formula itself can handle up to 500 degrees F, so there's real headroom built in. For a warm-running diesel inboard, that kind of thermal tolerance makes a significant difference in how long the hose holds up over time. Trident backs it with a 10-year warranty, which says something about how they stand behind the material.

got a tight bend in my wet exhaust run, is this hose made for that kind of routing?

For longer connections that need substantial bends, the corrugated silicone construction is built to flex and handle tight bend radius installs. It also has a wire helix between 2 ply reinforcement and a thick tube and cover to help it hold shape while routing.
