Featuring a 3-inch inside diameter this hose is built with thick tube and cover reinforced with a wire helix between two-ply layers. It can handle a maximum continuous temperature of 350F. The glossy blue silicone exterior is not just aesthetically pleasing but also offers unparalleled heat and aging resistance.

The corrugated design ensures excellent flexibility and tight bend radius facilitating easier installations and addressing misalignment and space issues efficiently. hose says 350 degrees continuous but my wet exhaust gets pretty toasty on long runs, is that temp rating actually holding up in real use or is it more of a peak number?

The 350 degree figure is the maximum continuous operating temperature, not a short-burst peak. Silicone rubber handles heat differently than standard EPDM, and Trident rates this line at 350F sustained because the formulation is built for it. The 10 year warranty they back it with reflects that confidence. Just make sure it's installed far enough downstream from the water injection point so the hose itself isn't sitting in the hottest zone of the system.

trying to snake a 3 inch wet exhaust run around a tight corner, will that corrugated blue hose bend without kinking up on me?

For tight bends, the corrugated bellows-style construction is meant to give you more flexibility and a tighter bend radius than a straight exhaust hose. Installation still matters though. Support it well along the run and make sure it does not kink.
