CVH Series Inline Check Valve, 1-1/4 NPT Ports, Up To 200.00 GPM & 6000.00 PSI

Description & Features

The DMIC New York CVH Series Inline Check Valve ensures high performance with its 1-1/4 NPT ports, capable of handling flow rates up to 200 GPM and pressure up to 6000 PSI. Constructed with an alloy steel body and piston, this valve is designed for durability and reliability. A black oxide coating on the body enhances corrosion resistance while the precision hard seat piston seal and high strength spring steel spring ensure superior function.

Featuring a precision ground seat and hardened poppet check element, the CVH05-1250-N model eliminates leakage, providing efficient fluid control. The superior check valve retainer design prevents spring from fully packing, reducing the opening impact and extending service life.

Capable of sustained high-pressure operations up to 10,000 PSI in smaller sizes, this series is engineered to meet rigorous industry standards. Burst pressure rated at 19500 makes it a robust choice for demanding applications.

With its robust construction and advanced features, the CVH Series Inline Check Valve is an optimal choice for industrial applications requiring dependable and efficient fluid control solutions.

Question by: Frank R on May 10, 2025, 10:41 AM
What size are the threads on this check valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 11, 2025, 1:47 PM
This valve has 1-1/4 NPT threads.
Question by: Roy C on Jan 5, 2026, 4:50 PM
running this on a system that tops out around 5500 PSI pretty regular, is that still within safe range for this valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 1:57 PM
At 6000 PSI maximum working pressure, a system running steady at 5500 PSI sits comfortably within what this valve is rated to handle. The alloy steel body and precision hard seat piston seal are built to hold up under sustained high pressure without leaking down. The hardened poppet check element is part of what keeps things sealed tight even when you're pushing it consistently near the top of the range.
Question by: Floyd H on Nov 23, 2025, 6:00 AM
runs up to 6000 PSI rated, but I got an application that can spike higher than that sometimes. this valve gonna hold up or is that pushing it too far?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 24, 2025, 12:49 PM
At sustained operation, 6000 PSI is the rated working limit for this valve. That said, the CVH Series is built from alloy steel with a burst pressure rating of 19,500 PSI, so there's substantial margin above the working range. For smaller sizes in this series, the spec notes capability up to 10,000 PSI at a reduced safety factor. At 1-1/4 inch though, the 6000 PSI working pressure is what you want to stay within for reliable, long-term use.
