DF40 Series 4000 PSI Pressure Filter, SAE -20 Ports, 9.5 Inch 3.0 Micron Paper Element

Rated for continuous duty at 4000 psi, this top-ported pressure filter from Schroeder Industries is designed for demanding hydraulic circuits requiring reliable particulate control. The DF40 Series 4000 PSI Pressure Filter, SAE -20 Ports, 9.5 Inch 3.0 Micron Paper Element handles flow rates up to 30 gpm with 150 SUS fluids and filters to 3.0 microns using a paper element housed in a steel element case with an aluminum porting head.

SAE -20 port connections and Buna-N seals are standard. The bypass valve cracks at 40 psi and reaches full flow at 57 psi, with 4.0 inches of clearance required for element service. A visual indicator is included, and a no-element indicator option is also available. Operating temperature range spans -20°F to 225°F. Conventional subplate porting is supported, along with pipe, SAE straight thread, and ISO 228 porting options.
