The DG17V-3 Series Subplate/Manifold Mount NFPA Size D03 Manual Valve from Danfoss (Power Solutions II LLC) is crafted for a wide range of high-pressure applications including die casting & foundry marine/offshore and machine tools. This 4-way 3-position valve designed for double acting cylinders or reversible motors ensures precise flow control with its spring centered operation.

Fitted with Viton seals as standard the valve delivers a reliable performance under a maximum operating pressure of 5000 PSI for ports P A and B. The in-center circuit configuration blocks port P while directing ports A & B to the tank. Suitable for mounting on industry-standard surfaces it supports a maximum flow rate of 20 GPM. The recommended filtration level is ISO 18/15 or cleaner for optimal longevity.

The compact design facilitates easy subplate mounting utilizing four 10-24 x 1-1/4 Grade 8 socket head capscrews torqued to 40-50 lb. in. This flow control hydraulic valve is an essential component for test equipment & simulation primary metal and press applications among others.

trying to match up a hand valve we’ve got, is this one the D03 subplate type and not a line mount?

Yes, it's designed for subplate or manifold mounting, conforming to the NFPA size D03 as a manual valve. It isn't an in line, pipe, or cartridge mount.

When the handle’s centered, what’s it do with the ports on this 4 way 3 position valve?

With the handle in the middle, it's spring-centered with the P port blocked, while A and B are open to the tank. This is the center position configuration specific to this valve.

Is this DG17V-3 valve set up for a manifold mount with NFPA D03 size? I need to swap out an old spring-centered one.
