Designed for diverse applications such as harvesters refuse haulers and various mobile and industrial uses this coil delivers reliable performance. The DG4S4-01 50 Series valve part from Danfoss (Power Solutions II LLC) features a compact design ensuring ease of integration.

Engineered with internally rectified components these continuous duty coils are a replacement part for older Direct Acting Air Gap Solenoids with standard Vitonreg; seals. The maximum operating pressure for Ports P A & B is 3000 PSI and Port T is 1000 PSI while the actual flow rates depend on the particular spool/spring combination and coil used.

For secure mounting use four 1/4-20 x 1-1/2 Grade 8 socket head cap screws (Vickers Bolt Kit 255633) torqued to a maximum of 112 lb.in with lubricated threads. Regarding mounting orientation detented models should be installed horizontally. Other configurations can be mounted in various positions.

been running older direct acting air gap solenoids on my harvester for years now, is this coil gonna work as a drop-in swap or am I looking at modifications?

For older Direct Acting Air Gap Solenoid setups, this is the replacement part you want. It carries Viton seals standard and shares the same basic design intent as the equipment it replaces. Keep in mind that newer builds are now being pointed toward the Wet Armature 60 Series, so this coil is really aimed at keeping existing older equipment running rather than starting fresh installations. If your machine already uses that older air gap style, the fit should be right.
