The Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton Coils are designed for demanding applications including harvesters refuse haulers mobile and industrial environments. These coils are characterized by their compact design and continuous duty capability making them a reliable choice for various operational needs. Designed to meet rigorous performance standards these coils are internally rectified ensuring efficient functionality even in challenging conditions. Rated for maximum operating pressure of 3600 PSI (Ports P A & B) with petroleum oil and 1000 PSI with high water base fluids they deliver robust performance. It is important to note that pressures exceeding 3000 PSI require a steel subplate or manifold. Mounting considerations include the use of 4ea 1/4-20 x 1-1/2 Grade 8 socket head capscrews torqued to a maximum of 112 lb.in. with lubricated threads. Detented models should be mounted with the longitudinal axis horizontal while other models can be installed in any position. The DG4S4-01 60 Series Danfoss / Eaton Coils operate within a temperature range of 70deg;F to 120deg;F ensuring adaptability to various operational environments. This product is available in numerous configurations not detailed in the catalog; for more information please contact us.

Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Johnny H on Sep 12, 2025, 10:19 AM
running one of these on a refuse hauler that cycles pretty much all day long, will it hold up to that kind of continuous use or is it gonna need babying?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 13, 2025, 12:25 PM
Continuous duty is built into what these coils are rated for, so running them hard through a full shift on a refuse hauler is exactly the kind of load they were engineered to handle. The compact design helps in tight mounting situations common on that equipment, and the internal rectification keeps things running efficiently even when conditions aren't ideal. Just make sure your fluid temps stay within the 70 to 120 degree F operating range and you should be in good shape for day-in day-out operation.
