Description & Features

This Eaton Vickers DG4S4-01 Series D05 Solenoid Valve is a 4-way, 3-position directional control valve designed for subplate or manifold mounting. Featuring a spring-centered, closed center configuration, this valve is suitable for applications such as die casting, foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore systems, presses, primary metal processing, paper manufacturing, test equipment, simulation, and turbine control (wind, steam, and water).

The valve body is constructed from durable gray iron. It is designed to be mounted with the solenoid at either the A port end or the B port end. The valve is designed to operate with a fluid cleanliness of 19/17/14 micron and within a temperature range of 70°F to 120°F. This model uses a 12VDC lead wire coil with a 30W power rating. Ports P, A, and B can handle up to 3600 PSI with petroleum oil or 1000 PSI with High Water Base fluids, while Port T is rated to 1000 PSI.

got a D05 manifold already. is this one the ISO 4401 / NFPA D05 footprint or am i gonna be drilling new holes

Mounting is the standard ISO4401-AC-05-4-A interface, also called NFPA D05, CETOP 5, NG10. It is a subplate or manifold mount valve, so it bolts to those industry-standard surfaces without changing the pattern.

does this valve work with a 12 volt DC system or do I need a different coil setup

12VDC is exactly what this one runs on. The coil is rated at 30 watts and comes with lead wires already attached, so hooking it into a DC circuit is pretty straightforward. No adapter or separate coil purchase needed for standard 12-volt applications.
