DG4V-3(S) Series Subplate/Manifold Mount NFPA Size D03 Solenoid Valve, 4-Way, 3-Position, Spring Centered, Closed Center, HP Performance, 24VDC DIN 43650 Coil.
The DANFOSS (Power Solutions II LLC) DG4V-3(S) Series Subplate/Manifold Mount NFPA Size D03 Solenoid Valve 4-Way 3-Position Spring Centered Closed Center HP Performance 24VDC DIN 43650 Coil offers superior reliability and high pressure & flow capability.
Designed with ISO 4401 Size 03 NFPA D03 port interface this industrial directional control valve is easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces ensuring seamless integration with a variety of applications including die casting foundry machine tools marine/offshore and primary metal processes.
Featuring gray iron body material and Buna-N seals the DG4V-3(S) Series valve ensures fluid cleanliness of 19/17/14 micron enhancing operational reliability under rigorous conditions. The solenoid valve operates at a maximum pressure of 5075 psi with a coil rating of 24VDC achieving optimal performance even in high-demand environments.
Capable of handling fluid temperatures from -4deg;F to 158deg;F (mineral oil) and +50deg;F to 129deg;F (water-based fluids) this valve suits various fluid mediums. Mounting considerations highlight versatility; detented models should mount with their longitudinal axis horizontal while other configurations allow flexible positioning.

Question by: Floyd R on Mar 6, 2026, 12:09 PM
Runs on 24VDC, but what's the max pressure this thing can handle before I start worrying about blowing seals or cracking the body?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 6:29 AM
Rated up to 5075 psi, so it's built for serious pressure applications. One thing worth knowing though: anything above 3000 psi requires a steel subplate or manifold. The standard gray iron body is fine up to that threshold, but pushing past it with the wrong subplate is where problems start. Keep that in mind when you're speccing out your mounting hardware.
