The DG4V-3(S) Series Subplate/Manifold Mount NFPA Size D03 Solenoid Valve 4-Way 2-Position Spring Offset End-to-End Spool / Spring Code 2A 24VDC DIN 43650 Coil by Danfoss is designed for high reliability in demanding industrial settings such as die casting machine tool operations and marine/offshore applications.

With a maximum operating pressure of 5075 psi and flow capabilities of up to 16 GPM for both AC and DC coils this valve ensures low pressure drops and optimal performance. The valve's construction features gray iron body material and Buna-N seal material providing durability and leak resistance.

The unit is easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces and features ISO 4401 Size 03 NFPA D03 port interface for seamless integration into existing systems. Its 24VDC DIN 43650 Coil is designed for efficient operation even in transient conditions with all ports blocked.

Additional features include a standard plain manual override viton seals and a scratch-proof manual override knob. The valve mount type is subplate/manifold mounted and it supports fluid temperature ranges from -4deg;F to 158deg;F for mineral oil and +50deg;F to 129deg;F for water-based fluids.

High performance metrics are assured through its single-stage design and spool center condition of B Port End. The unit is also characterized by a straightforward coil change process that doesnrsquo;t require repositioning of the valve.

Running this on a die casting setup and need to know if it'll hold up pressure-wise. What's the max this thing can handle?

At 5075 psi max operating pressure, it's built for serious industrial duty. One thing worth knowing though: if you're pushing past 3000 psi, you'll need a steel subplate or manifold under it. A standard subplate won't cut it at those higher pressures. Also keep in mind the tank port is rated at 210 psi separately, so factor that into your hydraulic connections layout.
