DG4V-3(S) Series Danfoss / Eaton Coils

Description & Features

Designed for demanding applications such as harvesters refuse haulers and other mobile and industrial uses these solenoid-operated coils offer high pressure and flow capability with low pressure drops.

Built with an internally rectified mechanism these coils ensure continuous duty while maintaining a compact form factor. The fluid temperature range for mineral oil is between -4deg;F and 158deg;F and for water-based fluids it is from 50deg;F to 129deg;F. Maximum operating pressure stands at an impressive 5075 psi making it essential to use a steel subplate or manifold for pressures exceeding 3000 psi.

Notable features include Vitonreg; seals a scratch-proof manual override and the ability to change the coil while the valve is in place. The mounting considerations highlight detent models should be installed with their longitudinal axis horizontal while other models are flexible for any position.

The DG4V-3(S) Series Danfoss / Eaton Coils come with ISO 4401 Size 03 and NFPA D03 port interfaces ensuring broad compatibility. For applications requiring DIN 43650 connectors solenoid connectors are required. Note that a variety of configurations are available and further detailed information can be provided upon request.

Question by: Connie R on Apr 15, 2025, 2:10 PM
Running these on a harvester that sees pretty much nonstop use during season. These coils gonna hold up to continuous duty or do they need rest cycles?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 17, 2025, 9:42 AM
Continuous duty is built right into these coils, so running them hard through a long harvest season is exactly the kind of work they're rated for. The internally rectified design handles that sustained operation without needing downtime between cycles. Just make sure your fluid temps stay within range. Mineral oil applications are good from -4°F up to 158°F, and that covers most field conditions you'd run into.
