This Style PSC Polyurethane Double-Acting Piston Seal is designed for use in hydraulic cylinders and equipment requiring reliable sealing performance.

Manufactured by Hercules Sealing Products, this piston seal features a 3.00 inch bore diameter and a 2.62 inch groove diameter. Constructed with a 95A polyurethane seal and a 70A nitrile energizer, it is suitable for pressures from 0 to 5,000 PSI and temperatures ranging from -65°F to 220°F.

Got a cylinder with a 3-inch bore that needs a new piston seal, will this one fit right, and what groove size am I working with?

For a 3.00 inch bore, this seal fits a groove diameter of 2.624 inches. The piston diameter it's built around is 2.997 inches, with a tolerance of +0/-0.004. One thing worth noting is that those piston diameter dimensions assume the piston doesn't have wear rings installed. If yours does, that changes the fit calculation.
