Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Tommy H on Jul 19, 2025, 2:51 PM
Reckon this hose would hold up okay in a hydraulic system running near its max pressure most of the time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 21, 2025, 8:43 AM
This hose is rated to handle a maximum operating pressure of 3650 PSI, and it's built with a double wire braid for reinforcement, so it should be able to withstand continuous use near that pressure, provided you're within the temperature range of -40°F to +212°F.
Question by: Kurt A on Mar 6, 2026, 6:00 PM
hose says it goes up to 3650 PSI, is that the working pressure or the burst rating?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 8, 2026, 1:38 PM
3650 PSI is the maximum operating pressure, meaning that's what it's rated to handle in normal service conditions. Burst pressure is a separate figure and runs considerably higher, but the 3650 PSI figure is what you're working within for safe, continuous hydraulic use.
Question by: Johnny R on Aug 11, 2025, 7:55 AM
got a tight spot to snake a hose through, how tight can this 2SC hose bend without kinking up on me?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 12, 2025, 2:17 PM
For routing, the published minimum bend radius is 3.94 inches. Keeping your bends at or above that radius helps it flex without overstressing the double wire braid.
