The Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton DT8P1-03 10 Design Check Valve ensures stable performance with minimal maintenance making it ideal for various hydraulic applications. Crafted with a steel body this inline check valve supports a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI suitable for low shock service.
Featuring 3/8 NPT ports and a 5 PSI cracking pressure it efficiently allows free fluid flow in one direction. Rated for up to 8.00 GPM this valve is engineered for reliability in environments such as die casting marine/offshore machine tools and turbine control systems.
The DS8P1 & DT8P1 Series Inline Check Valve stands out with its capability to prevent leaks before they start. Constructed without elastomer seals it ensures durability and consistent function under pressure.
Buna-N seals and standard leakage complete the design providing a robust solution for primary metal press paper and test equipment applications. This check valve is a critical component in hydraulic systems enhancing the longevity and efficiency of industrial equipment.

got a 3/8 npt line, is this check valve the right one and which way does it flow
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 1, 2025, 3:13 PM
With 3/8 NPT ports, this valve matches a 3/8 NPT threaded line connection. Function-wise it is an inline check valve, so it allows free flow of hydraulic fluid in one direction only and blocks flow in the reverse direction.
Question by: Wade P on Jul 2, 2025, 11:18 AM
does this valve work for marine hydraulic setups or is it just for shop equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 3, 2025, 11:27 AM
Marine and offshore is actually one of the listed application types for this valve, right alongside machine tools, die casting, turbine control, and press equipment. The steel body and Buna-N seals hold up in demanding environments, and the 3000 PSI max operating pressure gives you solid headroom for most marine hydraulic circuits. Just keep in mind it's rated for low shock service, so you'd want to avoid using it anywhere reverse flow could slam back through at high velocity.
