Engineered for hydraulic applications, the DS8P1 & DT8P1 Series Inline Check Valve ensures unidirectional fluid flow with a 5 PSI cracking pressure.
Designed with a steel body and no elastomer seals, this valve offers stability and minimal maintenance. Suitable for die casting & foundry, machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal, paper, test equipment & simulation, and turbine control (wind, steam, water) industries.
The 3/4 NPT ports and a rated flow of up to 20.00 GPM make it reliable for various industrial settings. With a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI, this valve is built for low shock service but should not be used in high velocity reverse flow conditions that result in shock.
This check valve is an optimal choice for preventing leaks and ensuring fluid control in challenging environments.

got a line that needs to only flow one way. is this check valve the kind that just lets it pass one direction and blocks the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 9, 2025, 6:15 PM
In hydraulic circuits, an inline check valve like the DS8P1 and DT8P1 series is used to allow free flow in one direction only and prevent reverse flow.
Question by: Dale M on Jan 28, 2026, 12:55 PM
what size pipe threads does this valve hook up to and how much flow can it pass
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 6:25 AM
Threading this onto a standard 3/4 inch NPT line is all it takes to get connected. You can run up to 20 gallons per minute through the valve and it needs 5 PSI of cracking pressure to open up the flow.

got a setup with 3/4 NPT lines. Is this check valve the right size, and what kind of flow will it handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 25, 2025, 7:39 AM
With 3/4 NPT ports, it matches 3/4 NPT hydraulic connections, and it is rated for up to 20.00 GPM flow.
Question by: Darryl J on Sep 7, 2025, 6:29 PM
What kind of hydraulic applications is this check valve good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 9, 2025, 6:04 AM
These inline check valves are used in die casting, foundries, machine tools, marine and offshore equipment, presses, primary metal, paper, test equipment, simulation setups, and turbine control systems that use wind, steam, or water.
