does this cylinder work down to pretty cold temps or is it gonna have seal problems in winter? got some outdoor equipment that sees some rough weather
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 15, 2026, 5:07 PM
Buna-N U-cup seals are standard on this cylinder, and the rated temperature range runs from -20°F up to 200°F. For most outdoor winter conditions that's going to be well within spec. If you're running in environments that get exceptionally cold or involve chemical exposure, there's an optional Viton seal upgrade available for this model that may hold up better depending on what you're dealing with.
