Question by: Warren R on Jan 13, 2026, 7:10 PM
Hey, will this fitting hold up okay if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it pretty much all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 15, 2026, 6:45 AM
This fitting is designed for specialized applications needing precise connections, so it should work for continuous use as long as you stay within its rated torque of 44-48 lb/ft.
Question by: Wade C on Sep 23, 2025, 10:23 AM
what tools do i actually need to put this fitting together? got a buddy saying i need some special crimper but that don't sound right
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 24, 2025, 12:47 PM
No crimper needed here. The E-Z Clip system works with a pair of FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers and a guillotine blade or equivalent cutting tool to square off the hose end. You'll also want refrigerant oil compatible with your A/C or refrigeration system to lubricate the nipple before insertion. That's really the full toolkit. The whole point of the E-Z Clip design is that you don't need power equipment or a crimping setup to get a solid, leak-free connection.
