No guesswork no leaking crimps and no power supply needed this fitting is as simple to use as a pair of pliers. Designed for easy installation it includes steps such as cutting the hose to the proper length slipping on clips oiling the nipple inserting the nipple into the hose snapping on the cage sliding the clips and closing the clips using FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers.

Constructed from durable materials the fitting system includes appropriately sized clips and cages a nipple assembly with black O-rings and compatibility with GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose. Note that E-Z Clip components should not be reused to ensure safety and performance.

putting this on an A/C line in a tight spot under the dash -- does the 90 degree elbow actually give you enough room to work, or is it still a bear to get in there?

Tight underdash work is exactly what that 90 degree configuration is built for. The elbow redirects the hose run so you're not fighting a straight fitting in a corner where there's no clearance. The E-Z Clip system itself helps too since you only need the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers to finish the connection. No crimping machine, no power source. As long as you cut the hose square, get both clips slipped on before seating the nipple, and make sure there's no gap between the hose end and the nipple shoulder, it goes together pretty clean even in confined areas.

trying to hook up a -10 hose, what all does this fitting actually connect to?

On the hose side it’s made for a -10 GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose using the E-Z Clip setup with a cage and two clips. On the other end you’ve got a 7/8-14 female SAE 45 degree swivel connection, and the fitting body is a 90 degree elbow for routing in tight spots.
