The E-Z Clip Series Fitting 1-14 Female RotaLok -10 Hose 90 deg Elbow from Danfoss Power Solutions (II LLC Aeroquip) combines reliability with seamless assembly.

Designed specifically for special products it features a 90-degree elbow with a secure 1-14 thread fitting. The fitting is equipped with a female RotaLok end and a hose size of -10 ensuring compatibility for industrial needs.

Materials recommended for use include GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose and refrigerant oil compatible with the refrigeration or A/C system. The fitting includes two specialized black O-rings on the nipple assembly which should not be removed or replaced.

Assembly requires clip closing pliers (FT1357) and a guillotine blade or equivalent cutting tool. The components such as clips and cages are designed for single use only.

Sg 1 Cut The Hose
Cut the Hose to Proper Length. Be Sure the Cut is Made Square to the Hose Length
Sg 2 Slip On Two Clips
Install Two Proper-Sized Clips Onto the Cut End of the Hose
Sg 3 Oil The Nipple
Lubricate the Nipple with a Generous Amount of the Refrigeration or A/C System's Compressor Oil. This Must be Done to Lower the Force of Nipple Insertion
Sg 4 Insert The Nipple Into The Hose
Insert the Nipple into the Hose. There Should be No Gap Between the End of the Hose and the Shoulder on the Nipple. Avoid Kinking or Damaging the Hose While Inserting Nipple
Sg 5 Snap On The Cage
Snap the Cage into the Groove on the Nipple. When the Cage Has Been Correctly Installed in the Cage Groove, the Cage Will be Able to Rotate in the Groove
Sg 6 Slide The Clips
Slide the Clips Over the Cage Arms and into the Channels on Each Arm
Sg 7 Close The Clips
Use the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers to Close the Clips. The Pliers Should be Positioned Squarely on the Clip Connection Points and Should Remain Square During the Closing of the Clip

what tools do i actually need to put this fitting together? got the hose already but not sure if i need anything special beyond what's in the shop

You'll need clip closing pliers, specifically the FT1357 model, along with a guillotine blade (FT1356) or a comparable square-cutting tool to get the hose end clean and straight. Beyond that, have the appropriately sized clips and cage on hand, two per fitting, and make sure you're using refrigeration or A/C compressor oil compatible with your system to lubricate the nipple before insertion. The GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose is what this fitting is built to work with. None of those steps require power tools or a crimper, which is part of the appeal with the E-Z Clip setup.

got a -10 GH134 hose here, is this the right 90 fitting for it or am i barkin up the wrong tree

For a -10 GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose, this fitting matches that hose size and uses a 90 degree elbow with a 1-14 female RotaLok end. It is meant to be assembled as part of the E-Z Clip system using the proper cage and two clips.
