got a -12 hose and need a straight female SAE 45 swivel, is this the right one with the 7/8-14 threads?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 30, 2025, 7:31 AM
It matches a -12 hose and uses a 7/8-14 female SAE 45 degree swivel end, in a straight configuration.

You'll need a few specific items to get this assembled correctly. Two properly sized clips and a cage go on per fitting, along with the nipple assembly that comes with it. For tools, grab the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers and a guillotine blade or equivalent square-cut hose cutter. You also need refrigerant oil that's compatible with your system to lubricate the nipple before insertion. That oil step is not optional, it's what makes the nipple go in without fighting you. The GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose is the hose type this fitting is built for, so make sure that's what you're working with.
