Manufactured by Danfoss Power Solutions, the E-Z Clip Series Fitting is designed for use in specialized applications, providing a secure and efficient connection for refrigeration or air conditioning systems. Featuring a 5/8-18 female O-ring (short pilot) and -06 hose compatibility, this fitting ensures a reliable seal without the need for guesswork or power supplies.
The fitting is straightforward to use, even in confined spaces, and eliminates the risk of leaking crimps, making it ideal for professional maintenance and assembly tasks. Critical for ensuring system safety and performance, it requires no additional thread sealant and is compatible with applicable refrigerant oils.
The included components, such as clip closing pliers, guillotine blade, appropriately sized clips, and nipple assembly with specific rubber O-rings, guarantee proper installation and a long-lasting connection.

i got a -06 GH134 multi-refrigerant hose, is this the right straight fitting for it with the female o-ring end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 4:00 PM
For a -06 hose build, this fitting matches that hose size and it’s part of the E-Z Clip system that calls out GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose. On the connection side, it’s a straight 5/8-18 female O-ring style end with a short pilot, and it uses the seal part 1F40106-06.

Do i need to buy a special crimper tool to put this fitting on my AC hose or can regular pliers work.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 8:09 AM
Closing the clips properly requires the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers. A heavy crimping machine is not necessary since the system snaps together by hand but standard shop pliers will not squeeze the connections squarely. Make sure to lubricate the nipple generously with compressor oil before sliding it in.

what all do i need to put one of these fittings together? trying to figure out if i gotta order anything extra before i start the job
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 13, 2026, 7:42 AM
You'll need a few things on hand before assembly. The fitting itself requires clip closing pliers (FT1357), a guillotine blade or equivalent cutting tool for squaring the hose end, two appropriately sized clips and a cage, and refrigerant oil that's compatible with your system. The nipple assembly comes with two black O-rings already installed, and those should stay put. Do not remove or replace them. GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose is the specified hose type for this system. Once you've got all that together, the process moves pretty quick.
